    No. It's. Not.

  • Submitted by unknown2112 on Jul 9, 10 at 10:17pm

I would prefer a water bed where you could adjust the temperate of the water. Problem solved.

    • Submitted by bombanna on Jul 10, 10 at 5:03am

idiot. pretty much ALL water beds ALREADY HAVE THAT. i know mine does.\n\nand a frozen water bed would be FAR too cold if it was frozen.

    • Submitted by somerandomguyftw on Jul 10, 10 at 7:44pm

if you made that you would be my hero

    • Submitted by urallstupid on Jul 13, 10 at 9:26am

You dumb shit! Waterbeds already have temp. control.

  • Submitted by KaiserBlade on Jul 9, 10 at 9:10pm

I imagine that to be uncomfortable as hell. Waterbed > spring bed > frozen water bed.

    • Submitted by RyanM on Jul 9, 10 at 9:21pm

true story. i fail to see how this is the best idea ever. lol

Dont know about you, but i can live without freezer burn or frost bite on my sensitive areas.

    • Submitted by RazzleRack on Jul 10, 10 at 3:33am

You might rethink that if you've ever slept in 100+ weather without an air conditioner.

  • Submitted by barless on Jul 10, 10 at 6:42am

Yeah the comments section has better ideas for a bed than the actual text itself.

  • Submitted by livefreelove on Jul 9, 10 at 10:32pm

    Slushy bed!

  • Submitted by nikoliss on Jul 9, 10 at 10:33pm

Lay on it while it's freezing, then it'll be a tempur-pedic brick :D

  • Submitted by mslexi on Jul 9, 10 at 9:35pm

It's fuckin hot so I can see in theory only the idea being attractive!

  • Submitted by underagehangover on Jul 9, 10 at 9:18pm

so you could sleep on a fucking ice cube? yeah thats be great.

  • Submitted by _Emerica_ on Jul 9, 10 at 11:52pm

I looked into this last week. Any temp. Below body temp (96F) will make you cooler. But any thing below 75F you risk hypothermia. Most have adjustable heaters I think.

  • Submitted by emilyjune on Jul 9, 10 at 9:57pm

For everyone saying bad idea your wrong, most nice water beds have a lot of padding on top, it'd be so relaxing waking up on a bed that stays cool

  • Submitted by swied429 on Jul 9, 10 at 9:33pm

Worst. Idea. Ever. Put the pipe down and rethink this idea. Good hidea though

  • Submitted by oregon_donor on Jul 9, 10 at 10:20pm

yeah, and i want a toilet made of solid gold

  • Submitted by CatSnatchFever on Jul 9, 10 at 9:45pm

I see it feeling great when you're hungover on a hot day. Do it!

  • Submitted by AnDo35 on Jul 10, 10 at 5:28am

How about a water bed with ice cubes?

  • Submitted by hockeybabe on Jul 10, 10 at 1:22am

Bdmcloade has the right idea !!!

  • Submitted by spliffy on Jul 9, 10 at 11:13pm

You people are thinking it through too much. I thought it was a great idea, it's so fuckin hot!

Sex on a water bed. YES.

  • Submitted by preciseprecision on Jul 9, 10 at 10:26pm

you guys aren't thinking this through. look: buy giant freezer. put filled mattress in DURING MID-DAY. sure, it'll be rock hard at first...BUT it'll thaw by night and the the top layer of water will be ice cold, for all your hot, humid, summer night needs! do this every couple days, rinse, and repeat.

well, if you'd enjoy sleeping on a frozen bed, try concrete. or better yet, a glacier. that may be more appropriate.

  • Submitted by omg_its_hayley on Jul 10, 10 at 12:52am

....that would completely defeat the purpose of a waterbed.

  • Submitted by uAllSuck on Jul 10, 10 at 9:39am

    This is a terrible idea.

  • Submitted by marsho on Jul 10, 10 at 12:12am

    For great back support!

  • Submitted by regalbeagle on Jul 9, 10 at 9:18pm

And will you be lying under a "Ross Ice Sheet" on that bed?

  • Submitted by mattias on Jul 10, 10 at 1:54am

Ya, it make whoever is on it dicks smaller.

  • Submitted by Anonymous on Jul 10, 10 at 4:22am

    Only if it's a slushy

  • Submitted by reedydixon on Jul 10, 10 at 2:17am

I don't think tht would be very comfortable. And it would melt. Wouldn't it??

  • Submitted by jakeyringo on Jul 9, 10 at 10:37pm

    That would suck

  • Submitted by mike8121 on Jul 11, 10 at 7:27pm

    50 bucks its in pulman

  • Submitted by destructo on Jul 10, 10 at 2:42am

Why not just fill the bed halfway with water and the other half with icecubes?

  • Submitted by jeex on Jul 10, 10 at 1:07am

if there was some way to mold it to freeze in the shape in which you natually lay, that would be amazing.

    • Submitted by majoycreepy69 on Jul 10, 10 at 6:37am

then what would happen if you decided to roll over?

  • Submitted by thomasb28 on Jul 9, 10 at 10:49pm

Classic Oregon donor. Haha ur reply was better than the text.

  • Submitted by KaylaFoyt on Jul 9, 10 at 9:55pm

Good idea. Haha I want one!

  • Submitted by anonmyous on Jul 10, 10 at 5:52am

    It's. Not. Really.

  • Submitted by anonymou on Jul 9, 10 at 11:57pm

    Worst. Idea. Ever.

  • Submitted by kcs99 on Jul 10, 10 at 2:26am

I think the heat is getting to you, man. Put one of those frozen blue things on your head before you stroke out.

  • Submitted by big_dubya56 on Jul 9, 10 at 9:57pm

It wouldn't work, the mattress would burst

  • Submitted by bigbrown on Jul 10, 10 at 3:28am

Just fill it with super crushed ice.

  • Submitted by Anonymous1024 on Jul 11, 10 at 1:17am

it only says its a good idea since its hot in washington right now

  • Submitted by adammal44 on Jul 10, 10 at 11:51pm

If someone does try this, be sure to underfill the mattress. Unlike most liquids, water expands upon freezing, so a near-full mattress would explode. Same as what happens when you put a soda in the freezer.

  • Submitted by yomomasmoma on Jul 10, 10 at 3:45am

It's like sleeping in cold metal.. enjoy I guess

  • Submitted by Samia on Jul 11, 10 at 6:03am

The slushy bed sounds OK. As for everything else? Haha, not so much. I don't think I'd enjoy sleeping on a giant ice cube, or a bed filled with smaller cubes.
