  • No. It's. Not.

  • I would prefer a water bed where you could adjust the temperate of the water. Problem solved.

    Submitted by unknown2112 on Jul 9, 10 at 10:17pm
  • I imagine that to be uncomfortable as hell. Waterbed > spring bed > frozen water bed.

Submitted by KaiserBlade on Jul 9, 10 at 9:10pm
  • Dont know about you, but i can live without freezer burn or frost bite on my sensitive areas.

    Submitted by elizabeth89 on Jul 9, 10 at 9:09pm
  • Yeah the comments section has better ideas for a bed than the actual text itself.

Submitted by barless on Jul 10, 10 at 6:42am
  • Slushy bed!

Submitted by livefreelove on Jul 9, 10 at 10:32pm
  • Lay on it while it's freezing, then it'll be a tempur-pedic brick :D

  • so you could sleep on a fucking ice cube? yeah thats be great.

Submitted by underagehangover on Jul 9, 10 at 9:18pm
  • For everyone saying bad idea your wrong, most nice water beds have a lot of padding on top, it'd be so relaxing waking up on a bed that stays cool

Submitted by emilyjune on Jul 9, 10 at 9:57pm
  • It's fuckin hot so I can see in theory only the idea being attractive!

Submitted by mslexi on Jul 9, 10 at 9:35pm
  • I looked into this last week. Any temp. Below body temp (96F) will make you cooler. But any thing below 75F you risk hypothermia. Most have adjustable heaters I think.

  • Cold water bed = better idea. Who agrees?

Submitted by _Emerica_ on Jul 9, 10 at 11:52pm
  • I see it feeling great when you're hungover on a hot day. Do it!

Submitted by CatSnatchFever on Jul 9, 10 at 9:45pm

  • How about a water bed with ice cubes?

    Submitted by AnDo35 on Jul 10, 10 at 5:28am
  • you guys aren't thinking this through. look: buy giant freezer. put filled mattress in DURING MID-DAY. sure, it'll be rock hard at first...BUT it'll thaw by night and the the top layer of water will be ice cold, for all your hot, humid, summer night needs! do this every couple days, rinse, and repeat.

Submitted by preciseprecision on Jul 9, 10 at 10:26pm
  • You people are thinking it through too much. I thought it was a great idea, it's so fuckin hot!

Submitted by spliffy on Jul 9, 10 at 11:13pm
  • Sex on a water bed. YES.

Submitted by shibbyalane on Jul 10, 10 at 12:35am
  • I love this!!!!!!

    Submitted by skibum27 on Jul 12, 10 at 12:38am
  • so you're asking for a block of ice? not a good idea at all

    Submitted by jaybram24 on Jul 10, 10 at 4:07am
  • well, if you'd enjoy sleeping on a frozen bed, try concrete. or better yet, a glacier. that may be more appropriate.

    Submitted by TheNewGuy03 on Jul 10, 10 at 5:07am
  • I don't think tht would be very comfortable. And it would melt. Wouldn't it??

Submitted by reedydixon on Jul 10, 10 at 2:17am
  • ....that would completely defeat the purpose of a waterbed.

    Submitted by omg_its_hayley on Jul 10, 10 at 12:52am
  • This is a terrible idea.

Submitted by uAllSuck on Jul 10, 10 at 9:39am

    Submitted by mike8121 on Jul 11, 10 at 7:27pm
  • That would suck

Submitted by jakeyringo on Jul 9, 10 at 10:37pm
  • Why not just fill the bed halfway with water and the other half with icecubes?

Submitted by destructo on Jul 10, 10 at 2:42am
  • if there was some way to mold it to freeze in the shape in which you natually lay, that would be amazing.

Submitted by jeex on Jul 10, 10 at 1:07am
  • It's. Not. Really.

Submitted by anonmyous on Jul 10, 10 at 5:52am

Submitted by KaylaFoyt on Jul 9, 10 at 9:55pm
  • Worst. Idea. Ever.

Submitted by anonymou on Jul 9, 10 at 11:57pm
  • Just fill it with super crushed ice.

Submitted by bigbrown on Jul 10, 10 at 3:28am
  • It wouldn't work, the mattress would burst

    Submitted by big_dubya56 on Jul 9, 10 at 9:57pm
  • it only says its a good idea since its hot in washington right now

    Submitted by Anonymous1024 on Jul 11, 10 at 1:17am
  • If someone does try this, be sure to underfill the mattress. Unlike most liquids, water expands upon freezing, so a near-full mattress would explode. Same as what happens when you put a soda in the freezer.

    Submitted by adammal44 on Jul 10, 10 at 11:51pm
  • I think the heat is getting to you, man. Put one of those frozen blue things on your head before you stroke out.

    Submitted by kcs99 on Jul 10, 10 at 2:26am
  • first wololo

Submitted by blahalb on Jul 9, 10 at 9:06pm
  • The slushy bed sounds OK. As for everything else? Haha, not so much. I don't think I'd enjoy sleeping on a giant ice cube, or a bed filled with smaller cubes.
