He may not have been trying to kill the dog but alcohol is a poison to both humans and animals and he definately could have considering animals metabolize things differently from humans so therefor it's not funny! Some people shouldn't own animals!

Hey, as a vet tech, I am not going to sit here and be rude, because that doesn't do anything. But, I'm sure you care about your puppy, do know that alcohol, in tiny amounts, can kill a dog. They cannot metabolize it like humans can. It can also lead to VERY severe problems later in life that make for a very painful adulthood and early death. Just be careful! He loves you unconditionally and just take care of that little guy!
My dog drinks beer on his own free will, most dogs do. I doubt he was holding the dogs mouth open and MAKING him drink, all the people on here saying that he is a douche are either living somewhere where you cant drink openly, too young (or sheltered) to drink, or have never owned a dog. Either way, fuck off.
The cases of Malignant Hyperthemia in dogs (predominantly in Greyhounds) were attributed to the ingestion of SPENT hops (post boil/sparge) after preparing wort for fermentation, NOT CONSUMING FINISHED BEER, ITSELF.
