  • While I do think OP should make wayyy more of an effort, part of being in a relationship is realizing that everything doesn't have to be perfect ALL THE TIME. Monica, just because she's not always picture-perfect doesn't mean her relationship is going badly. It means they're comfortable around each other. You seem like an incredibly vain, superficial person, so I don't expect you to understand this.

      • well who is monica to judge the OP's relationship? if it's long term, one can guess it's going fine. for all monica knows, the OP could be exaggerating to be funny, could be very blond with thin hair and not need to shave as much as someone darker, etc. she might not be letting herself go at all. i remember seeing monica attack some other couple in a text for having sex in sweatpants. she seems to think she's on a relationship high-horse. if they're happy, let them be.
