I think it's pathetic that everyone has to be so judgemental. I have a few friends on the bigger side and they do not have a smell. Skinny people smell from all the areas that don't reach the air too. Get a frickin' life

I find it interesting how many ppl are willingly admitting that they're aware of "fat chick smell"...interesting, indeed.
I guess @ some point we've all "porked" a fat chick.
as a fat chick, i'm disturbed...... never really knew that i had a particular "scent" But as for us smelling like food.... I don't eat as much as my skinny bitch sister and exercise more.... i just have no metabolism. I'm all paranoid now and am going to take a shower.
The problem is less about being fat than it is lacking self-awareness. For instance, those people who spend time trying to convince you that "I don't take a shower every day--but I don't smell!" Anyone who says that is guaranteed to smell. Fact.
I'm a latina thats on the plus side, but i KNOW i dont smell bad. I think it's just lazy fat people who don't have good hygiene!! And no I'm not just saying it, my boyfriend would most definitly tell me. He's just blunt like that.

Race can affect smell, not only due to cultural and dietary differences but people of different races have scent glands that differer in overall concentration and location. Oh and mold can gow on the skin of morbidly obese persons, The warm sweaty conditions that most likely exisit between the fat rolls create the perfect breeding ground. Hence that smell
It's apparently because they have a double labia. I think that would make their vaginas look like a predator's mouth and I'm sure that has to have some nasty smell associated with it. I have had fat chick friends before, they know they stink.

sorry this is super late, but i just thought you should know, it's because of fungi. it doesn't matter if you shower daily or use lots of perfume, moisture is bound to build up, and therefore mold is going to accumulate. that's why fat people smell that way.
i know a fellow fat girl who got a yeast infection in her belly button. EEEEWWWWW but as for this "fat chick" (size 18 jean, XXL shirt at Old Navy) i'm sweet down there and all over.... unless i'm camping, but EVERYONE smells when the go camping. Bad hygiene = stink doesn't matter who the fuck you are....... but yeah... i kinda know what smell you mean.
i had no idea that race or skin pigment could affect your smell.
anyway, everyone, i personally think that we need to mellow it out about the natural smell of a human being. i like my man without his cologne best.

partly from the nasty sweat stuck in their rolls, and we can agree fat chicks sweat alot, no shortage of ammunition, but also they have almost a garbage smell like at restaurants cause they eat so much of anything all the good smells blend and make one bad smell. fat chicks suck

Um, maybe they smell because they are 1. Fat and round, and 2. Their arms are only so long; so, therefore, they cannot reach their bums to wipe.

last year i had a really fat chick as a roommate (like 200 pounds and 5'1") and everytime she bent down to pick something up, the smell of her vagina almost made me pass out
5:00 I actually spend most of my time hanging out with white and asian ppl. My white friends do feel like bologna-l ie clammy hands and if they get wet, they do smell like dogs.

Its actually caused by a fungi that grows in the moist sweaty recesses of their fat which they fail to clean correctly.
Im not being mean either, its a medical fact... which makes it all the more funny
