  • And on this episode of the "Texts From Last Night Overanalyzing Comment Thread," we find our cast deep in thought about the science behind sexual releases..

  • If you think about it, sex releases all the same neurotransmitters that drugs effect. Maybe that explains sex addicts. And maybe feeling good is the most "addictive" thing, not so much the substance. Idk, just wondering.

    • Dude, just because you watched one episode of HOUSE MD, does not make you a doctor. If you want to get a better grasp on sex addicts, watch SouthPark Episode 1, Season 14: Sexual Healing.

  • @emmy88 not to insult you or anything.. But neurotransmitters are released from vesicles in the presynaptic neuron into the synapse, where they bind to receptors on the postsynaptic neuron, which transmits a signal.

  • @ManupBeotch I am really not trying to insult you but nuerotransmitters cannot be released, the clue of that being transmit in the word, it's what transmits signals to your brain. Sex releases endorphins that can in some cases mimic a drug high! Like the first comment pussy is a drug, again I'm not trying to insult you, I'm nice!!!!

  • @keshea - Thank you for knowing your shit. And actually, whoever said I watched House, I dont watch that, I just take classes to prepare for a career as an army psychiatrist. I think i know what Im talking about, as does keshea... However, my little hypothesis is completely speculation, I dont know if aanyone has researched it.

    • That was me. I said it. The thing is, if you are entering the Army as a Psychiatrist, that means you are already a Psychiatrist. Since the military doesn't train those fields, they provide tuition in exchange for that service. That is why doctors, lawyers, pharmacists, psychiatrist etc. all come in as officers, usually O3/Captain and above. Since you said Psychiatrist, and not psychologist that would mean you are able to prescribe medicine and per the requirement went to medical school, and are a doct
