  • It's 35 degrees in Charleston, SC. Why is the AC going on? Did this text get lost for 6 months?

  • Why are you too fucking stupid to realize that owning a phone registered to an area code doesn't bind you to forever exist solely in that area code? The person could be in middle America. That's the entire appeal of cell phones.

    • It's freezing in middle America too. Projected high anywhere in the 48 states is a 70 in the southern tip of Texas. Where the fuck is someone using an air conditioner, asshole?

      • @drpeppermd...read my post...it's a heat pump...same outdoor unit as an air conditioner with a reversing switch to make heat instead of remove heat there's a limit to how cold it can be before the back-up takes over but i think it's twenty or so...dont believe me? Google it

        • I sent this in. A few days ago it was kind of nice about 70 degrees IN my town in SC, so the heat was warming up the house too much so we turned on the ac to cool it down. We also had most of the windows opened which is how this happened.

  • heat pumps use the outside unit to pull latent heat from the outdoors and pump it inside...air conditioning in reveerse basically...even though it's only 35 there is still small amounts of heat in the air to collect

  • @ttesroD if you have air conditioning that has a condenser on the outside of your building instead of a window unit, there's a big fan on top of the condenser that blows upwards

    • Okay that makes sense. For some reason I assumed they were in a car...

  • You have no idea where this person is or what they were doing. And people do stupid shit all the time. But please, pick apart a text on a joke site. Your mom should have swallowed you.

  • i cannot believe than an AC fan blows hard enough to stop the liquid vomit in the air, reverse it's direction as a relatively single unit, and blow it back into someone's face.\n\ni call fake on this bs.
