  • From what I've heard and researched that's not true. The original Joker portrayed in the comics is the most vile, evil, sadistic criminal you could ever imagine. He was completely dissociated from reality on all levels. So, Heath Ledger's Joker is closer to the comics but I do like JN's portrayal. Heath Ledger really developed his character fully as to invoke curiosity and be completely dissociated so-much-so that chaos is the only thing that gets him some sort of happiness.

  • And by "the first Batman movie", you mean Batman Begins, I suspect. As that's the only one with the plot that actually works as a life story.
