    Tomato sauce is similar to ketchup, sure. It isn't the same thing, though. It's sweeter, and it tastes strange. It isn't like Heinz or other brands of ketchup.

      There are places outside of America, i.e the rest of the English speaking world that call 'ketchup' tomato sauce
