I moved to 931 a couple years ago. place is awesome I got some land an can shoot guns all day everyday in my backyard and noone says shit. Crossville is fuckin lame it should be burned to the ground though. There aren't any ladies around that isn't knocked up or married is the biggest con about 931. A big 10-4 HELL YEA for 931. Im bringing good nug to the 931.
I'm from 731, and it really isn't a bunch of hicks. There are far worse off places than 731. Believe me, apparently none of you have been to Alabama... or Mississippi.
i live in 731, and well, there are a lot of dumbasses and hicks, but not everyone is like that. my friend went to ohio last summer and got asked if she wore shoes. some of us are actually normal.

Currently living in Knoxville. I've lived in Tennessee my entire life and I make fun of the stereotypical "dumb hick." Of course they aren't the only people in the state.

Tennessee is not all rednecks and hick. Some of the smaller towns...now those can be surreal. Anyone from the 731 area code is generally aregarded as an idiot.
931 FTW, just have to say this area code/state does have some Ignorant people. There is some intelligence just most of te intelligence flees when they have a chance.
How about Mississippi and Alabama- I've lived both- yeah there are some white trash/rednecks but hell- I've seen them all over; there are trashy people everywhere!!
Sadly, I'm from a small town in the 731 area code. Ignorance is definitely found in abundance here, but contrary to popular belief, we're not all like that.
finally someone else on here from the 931! I don't live there anymore but it wasn't that bad. don't get me wrong there are plenty of hicks, white-wannabe gangsters, and general trash but I made some great friends
im from MA originally and moved to the 615.....that was friggin surrealism at its best. whiskey tango everywhere. i loved getting made fun of because of MY accent....yeahhhhh ok. but all in all i do love it here.
