    If you REALLY want to plan ahead, don't buy more beer than you can drink without puking on you shoes. Or, just don't drink more beer than you can handle without puking on your shoes.

    This is a good idea. Also on a side note. Galoshes would be perfect in a party situation.

      It varies by state and county, but usually beer and wine is available at supermarkets.
