I think OP was being smart--there are some situations where you might want to recuse yourself to maintain professional relationships. And as a childcare provider myself, I can't imagine even wanting to participate in an orgy where parents of kids I babysit were present. It would creep me the fuck out.
Why? Just ... don't have sex with them, if that would be weird for you. It's not like they can hold being at an orgy against you, in terms of your future babysitting prospects; they're there themselves.
