    @BananaSwallower OP's friend apparently feels she needs to spice up her life by reading some stupid piece of poorly-written fanfic, whereas OP is already doing things like costumes and roleplaying rather than just reading about it. OP is saying, "Carpe diem" and go out and do stuff.
