In Louisiana you HAVE to be on DUI probation to work at a bar.

You need a night job where you can meet men and you didn't think of prostitution. \n\nGood for you.

Most states will not allow a person convicted of a felony to get a liquor license. But your first DUI is not a felony. So as long as it is your first go ahead.

I'm guessing if you had the job before the DUI they would make some sort of exception for work but not if you got the job while on probation

Depends on the job. You cannot hold a bartenders license while on alcohol-related probation.

You're typically prohibited from going into bars, liquor stores, or head shops when on probation. I would assume getting a job in one would also be prohibited.

Here's a tip: stop drinking and driving, its much easier to get a liquor license and the rest of us don't have to worry about morons like you trying to kill us because you're too irresponsible to call a friggin cab!
