    Being a native of Indianapolis, I must say I prefer it. But Detroit ain't so bad. As long as you keep your ass out of the ghetto, it's pretty safe. Especially the cities around detroit. It's got it's issues, every big city does, but it has a huge amount of history and culture.

    And DTW was a big shithole up until about 5 years ago when they built a new one. Doesn't matter. Flights in and out of DTW still cost an arm and a leg. This area will never attract tourism unless you market us as The U.S.'s Biggest Assholes!

    Reverse haters, 812 has many fun, beautiful areas. Bloomington is a fantastic small city. Terre Haute is in the 812 though... not quite so nice. Poor ol' Detroit.
