    Yeah.. I'm allergic to rum but I can drink pretty much anything else. He may have just ingested the certain alcohol he was allergic to.... he'd probably be fine

    He probably will be fine by drinking vodka. My friend is allergic to hopps (in beer) so he can only drink liquor

    He obviously has a gluten allergy. Which means all types of alcohol are bad for him, except those distilled by gluten free things. Potatoes are gluten free; therefore, vodka is OK.
