  • yeah seriously. i go to art school and it's the fucking shit. and you don't "learn to be creative" there in response to 801. it's about learning the skills and making connections (which is incredibly important in the art world now days.

  • Art is involved in everything in the world. Anything that needs to be designed isn't fabricated directly from the people "making" it or putting it on the market. Art/Drafting/Design students and graduates make it all. Arts schools don't just mean painting and shit. Don't hate cuz you don't have the abilities to design things like art students do.

  • Art school is a waste of money. You don't learn to be creative. It's not like learning accounting or learning how to remove a brain tumor. You either are or you aren't. Anybody who is good enough to get a job being an artist probably didn't need to go to college to learn to be one.
