  • Literally saw the blind leading the blind and then a man in a wheelchair going to help them while I was stuck in traffic near the soup kitchen on Ponce the other day........ But I've also grown up here and seen some WAY crazier shit..

  • Atlanta isn't ghetto and lame. You're probably just too much of a vagina to handle it.

  • from personal experience, people in wheelchairs are not always paralyzed, they could have a medical condition that takes away their balance ability, or the strength in their torso. Those that do have use of their legs, want to make sure they keep them exercised, therefore used to propel themselves around.

  • The guy on north Ave yesterday only had one leg if that's who you're talking about. In which case he wheeled himself into traffic to collect money as the light turned green. At least his leg was there to help him back over the curb ...?

Submitted by Anonymous on Sep 16, 09 at 10:19pm
  • You could say he's two steps ahead. Heh heh heh.

  • I was just down in Atlanta for work in July and I totally saw that guy almost everyday on my walk to the office!

Submitted by Anonymous on Sep 15, 09 at 5:26pm
  • It's a popular misconception that seeing somebody in a wheelchairs means they have no use of their legs. Just because you can move your legs doesn't mean you can walk, and even some people who can walk for short periods of time need wheelchairs to make it through the day.
