when I was in first grade and we were learning about creation I raised my hand and asked my Catholic schoolteacher when the dinosaurs lived. She told me they never existed. That's when I decided I couldn't be Catholic. A world without dinosaurs is just wrong.

this is an evangelical, fundamentalist christian belief, specifically, and by no means applies to all christians. but, televangelists and christian radio tend to lean this direction, so you can see how we might get the wrong impression.

Theres a museum in North east TX thats based on this theory. It's by this awesome wildlife park I'm going to soon and I've thought about dropping in to check it out but I'm so scientifically minded I'm convinced I'd go insane in there. Or be crucified.
I don't know how any religious person can deny dinosaurs ever existed, there is overwhelming proof as opposed to proof of God, which is either terrible or non existant

i have no problem with christians, but its really annoying when people believe dinosaurs and humans lived in the same time period. i had an argument with a class mate about it once. He said that carbon dating wasnt a valid argument that dinosaurs existed 65 million years ago, because carbon dating was "mostly guessing". he told me he read it in a "christian science" magazine. i laughed on the inside when he told me that. biggest oxymoron ever. christian science magazine. lolz
It needs to be reiterated that most Christians do not disregard science! The Catholic Church never disagreed with Darwin's theory of evolution and the original person to propose the big bang theory was a Jesuit Priest.
