All guys hate Twilight because they can not live up to the expectations that girls have for them. Although these characters are vampires and werewolves, you do not need to be either of these to know how to treat a girl.

Edward is one of the worst boyfriends I have encountered in both real life and book life, and Bella fails for thinking he's so amazing. I've read the books and I fear they will have a bad effect on young tween/teen girls searching for what to expect when they meet a guy and concluding that Twilight is a good example.

I read the books last summer and decided to re-read them this summer. I must have had a lapse of judgement when I thought I liked the books. When I reread them, I was bored and irritated. Every book is the same thing. "Edward, I can't live without you." "Oh I can't live without you either, Bella." ::They kiss but of course Edward has to pull away because Bella underestimates his self control:: Repeat a few hundred times and you have the entire Twilight Saga.

Can't blame Kristen Stewert for landing a role as a one-dimensional character. It really is not her acting, it's just the writing. Same for Rob Pattinson. They're both good actors that just got stuck with terribly written, flat characters.
i am proud to say i am a HUGE TWILIGHT FAN! Love it :) and all you guys that hate it are just admitting your jealousy that you can't live up to girls expectations.
