We were so bored at work tonight that we were in dry storage taking turns pouring the boxed wine we use for cooking into each others' mouths. I think I'm starting to understand the "problem" aspect of "drinking problem."

My co-worker and I used to work in a deli and get into the flagons of cooking sherry in the quiet hours.....booooooozed!
as a line cook sounds pretty typical...when the wine runs dry run down the the convience store down the street and buy the cheapest bottle of whiskey you can and keep it in the walk in for emergency use...add weed and being a line cook no longer makes you want to kill yourself
used to work as a dessert chef in a gourmet restaurant...bunch of us from the line would run into the walk-in fridge and take hits of nitrous out of the big industrial whipped cream cans and then just float around the kitchen all pale-faced for a few minutes trying not to laugh...
Bag/box wine? Uuuugggggh. Still, sounds like a great way to make a night bearable.

Smoked weed in the walk-in freezer with.

hahaha, so true 10:44, I used to work at a slightly upscale pizza place... when we would pull dough at night from the freezer we would always take gulps of the wine they had to keep us warm... mmmm gallons of gallo
i've done this. restaurants are always good places for stoners and alcoholics, because if they didn't hire us, they wouldn't have a staff at all!
