  • in the usa if you take an ambulance it will be no less then 500 dollars or so

  • Better then a cop car......

  • hahaha hilarious. yeah, canada's pretty chills. legalizing marijuana is just around the corner June 1, 2009 4:58AM We're waiting for the US to do it =P

  • This is quite ingenious backasswards thinking. Must be a canadian thing. $50 for an ambulance home could be cheaper than cab fair there it sounds like. Not worth it here in the U.S.

  • Too bad bout the poor ppl out there suffering a heart attack or some kind of serious life threatening problem... It's ok though, this guy saved himself some money. Nice one

  • Not that it matters cuz i think its a hillarious drunk idea and i love it either way...BUT, if it's a business establishment (ie: the bar) that calls for the ambulance you dont pay a cent, if it's you or jsut a person in general that calls from say a cell phone or house, they will take your info and bill you afterwards....starts at $50 and gets higher with the distance they need to take you in. Thats in Western Canada anyways :)

  • This make me proud to be from Toronto

Submitted by Anonymous on May 28, 09 at 4:24pm
  • Hey stupid, 416 is Toronto... its not Western Canada, of course it's going to be cheap. (born in the west - live in the east)

  • very clever indeed haha

Submitted by Anonymous on May 26, 09 at 1:35pm
  • I think we'd make great friends. Happened to me a couple times (sadly yes, more than once)... Depends where you are. In Toronto, I didn't have to pay anything, the other time in Hamilton I had to pay $50. OHIP covers $190 or something. God, I love Canada.

Submitted by Anonymous on May 27, 09 at 2:39pm
  • Hahahah. I'm gonna disagree. I think this is a horrible idea.

  • If they make you pay for the ambulance then fair enough, but if the bum-feeder is wasting the NHS' time, they should be killed.
