  • The Immaculate Conception means that Mary supposedly was born without original sin, not Jesus being born without sex

  • It doesn't matter whether you're Catholic or not. It means that Mary was conceived sexually but without the stain of original sin. She is immaculate, "im" meaning "not" or "un," and "macula" the Latin word for stain. The Virgin Birth and the Immaculate Conception are not at all the same and the confusion some Christians feel is just confusion, not some kinda of difference in theology between sects.

  • Mary was definitely conceived with sex. The unsexed one is the annunciation (kinda). Anyway, the Jews have been putting up with us for so long they just ignore us, the bhuddists ignore conflict as a general rule, and the extremist Muslims think we're all demons anyway

  • Catholocism is exactly why Christianity exists. Not a catholic but history doesn't lie. I love how all these new age churches (anything 500 years old or younger) all bash catholocism but won't ackknowledge how they obtained the bible, etc. Do your history before you bash religion

  • 1:35 you are a dumbass. Immaculate conception means that Jesus was born of a virgin not that she didn't have sin. So it DOES mean without sex.

    • Nope. 13 years of Catholic school and wikipedia tell us that Mary is the Immaculate Conception because she was born without original sin. Look it up.

  • Honestlly, it's only the Catholics and the Christians who start shit. Not the Jews, the extreem muslims, the buddists or anyone. Only christians get in your face and are complete assholes to anyone who doesn't worship their "god" the "right way"

  • This text meant always being safe then getting pregnant... Aka if it was going to happen might as well not used a condom. Damn don't know why a 'funny' text has to turn into a religious argument.

  • Yeah if your catholic...and you believe it happened that way, then absolutely that's what it it means. Obviously the OP did not mean it in the catholic sense.
