No, plants will make oxygen in the presence of light, but it also depends on what kind of plant it is, some are better than others for carbon fixation (ie. Oxygen production)
Um, you guys are wrong. CAM and C4 photosynthesis are the only plants that don't produce stop co2 production for an extended period. They do this because the close their stoma off to reduce transpiration. During the time though they go through a period of carbon fixation, making a 4 carbon acid that will be broken down into a 3carbon acid and co2 later

Actually the photosynthetic process is LIGHT dependent and with most places switching over to those energy efficient bulbs, there should be enough UV being emitted to sufficiently mimic sunlight for plants, therefore as long as the bulb's on, there should be O2 production, erhas at a decreased level due to insufficient enzymatic activity
