it's life's way of trying to embarrass the shit out of you into not drinking
because parks are for kids, not hungover/drunken college students.
parks are for the community and last I checked college students were part of the community. Plus college students/ high school students like to enjoy parks. Sometimes more often than kids.
Been there done that, maybe you shouldn't take your kids to a park on a college campus.
